Javid Talib has 42 years of domestic and international project engineering, project management and project development experience in Oil & Gas industry including both onshore and offshore projects. His 12 years of offshore experience includes 7 years at Engineers India Limited, New Delhi, India for ONGC’s Bombay High offshore development and 5 years with Hyundai Heavy Industries, 3 years of which in their shipyard in Korea.
Javid has been with Black & Veatch for 27 years and has been involved in LNG liquefaction projects since 1998. He is a Vice President and currently a Director of Floating Application in Oil & Gas Division. Javid is responsible for and leading the FLNG Program in Black & Veatch since 2007. He has a Masters in Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, India in 1974. Also has an M.B.A. from Kansas University in 1993. He is registered as Professional Engineer in state of Kansas.
Javid has several technical papers and presentations at many conferences, including OTC.
