Tetsuro Tochikawa is responsible for prospect evaluation, project economics, budget proposals and project management controls with a strong emphasis on technology development.

He is a seasoned professional with extensive management experience and a solid background in field development planning, engineering and major international project execution.

He was formerly Vice President, Eurasia & the Middle East and held numerous technical posts prior to that, including Azadegan Project Coordinator of the Joint Task Force of Japan, Technology Team Leader at Azerbaijan International Oil Co., and R&D Manager of the Petroleum Development Section of the Japan National Oil Corporation, now JOGMEC.

Tetsuro Tochikawa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Geology and Natural Resource Development Engineering from the University of Hokkaido in Japan, and is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineering.
