Justin Hearn graduated in chemical engineering from the University of Bradford, UK, in 1977.
He joined Babcock Woodall-Duckham Ltd., initially as a graduate trainee, and then as a commissioning engineer.
In 1980 he joined oilfield chemical manufacturer, Petrolite Ltd, as a Technical Sales Manager, initially based in Libya, and later throughout West Africa.
In 1990, he joined BASF as their Middle East Technical Advisor for oilfield chemicals, based in Dubai, and later working in the Russia oilfields.
Over 39 years of experience, all with JGC. Since 2009, being appointed as
one of board members of JGC. With 23 years in project management
positions on EPC projects in the refinery, gas, chemical and petrochemical
industries in the Far East, the Middle East, Europe and Australia.
Hayato Suga is the Operating Officer and General Manager of Natural Resources and Energy Department / Nippon Kaiji Kyokai (ClassNK), he has over 25years experience as classification experts especially for LNG / LPG shipping technology. Since beginning his career at ClassNK in 1986, Hayato Suga has contributed greatly to the safety of liquefied gas carriers and tankers, from inspecting vessel drawings to supporting the creation of technical guidelines and was appointed as Operating Officer in 2012 being in charge of offshore oil / gas field as well.
Iain is an ex-mariner with 14 years seagoing experience onboard ships with Ocean Fleets, Bibby Line, Esso International and Conoco/Maersk Floating Production.
Chris has twenty-five years of experience with KBR and the M. W. Kellogg Company and has worked exclusively in LNG for seventeen years. His areas of responsibility include the design and construction of onshore and offshore liquefaction projects and receiving terminals.
Chris leads the Global LNG Technology and Development Team, which is comprised of the most experienced LNG consultants at KBR. The team has oversight responsibility for worldwide LNG projects while maintaining KBR’s know-how and technical execution consistency.

Javid Talib has 42 years of domestic and international project engineering, project management and project development experience in Oil & Gas industry including both onshore and offshore projects. His 12 years of offshore experience includes 7 years at Engineers India Limited, New Delhi, India for ONGC’s Bombay High offshore development and 5 years with Hyundai Heavy Industries, 3 years of which in their shipyard in Korea.
