H-Energy Private Limited is currently developing LNG regasification terminals and cross-country natural gas pipelines on the west and east coast of India. These infrastructure projects will entail investments up to USD 2.0 billion. H-Energy through its marketing arm will also be involved in sourcing of LNG and marketing of regasified LNG to downstream consumers through these projects.
H-Energy is developing a jetty based FSRU regasification project on the west coast of India located at Jaigarh port in the state of Maharashtra. The port is equipped with breakwater and is operational throughout the year. The jetty construction work has started in November 2016 and the FSRU charter party agreement is under finalization phase, the project is expected to be operational from Q3-2018. In addition to the project on the west coast, H-Energy is also developing a 635 km natural gas pipeline from Jaigarh to Mangalore passing through the coastal towns of Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Goa, Karwar and Udupi. The regasified LNG flowing through this pipeline will act as a key source of clean energy for industries, homes and vehicles in these coastal towns and cities.
On the East coast of India H-Energy is developing an offshore FSRU project in the state of West Bengal which will be the first LNG regasification facility in the state. The company will also develop a 115 km subsea pipeline and around 450 km of on-shore pipeline to connect the project to various downstream consumers in West Bengal. The pipeline will also connect to the grid of Bangladesh. FID for the project is expected by the end of 2017 and the project is expected to be operational by Q1-2021.
