Sharon Paul is the Chief People Officer for Kent. Kent is $1.4 B Engineering and Project Management company which provides full asset life cycle services to the energy industry. Kent has a global workforce of 13,000 employees in 26 countries.  Sharon is responsible for championing Kent’s talent acquisition, talent management and development strategies, total rewards and employee engagement. She is instrumental in the rollout of Kent's Inclusion and Belonging Strategy, and the transformation of the company's culture.

 

Sharon brings 30+ years of executive Human Resources leadership experience. She was the CHRO of two global $1B dollar companies - one in Oil & Gas Services and the other an EPC contractor.  Sharon brings extensive major transaction experience. Staring with the recent merger of Kentech with SNC Lavalin Oil and Gas Division to form Kent PLC. She also led the Human Resources workstreams with the spin off and US IPO of a $1B US company Archrock, Inc (NYSE:AROC), the purchase of $.5B Valerus by FTSE 250 company Kentz Corp. Ltd (LN: KENZ) and the acquisition and delisting of Kentz by SNC Lavalin (TSX:SNC).  Sharon was also the HR leader and a Culture Champion during the integration of Mustang Engineering with John Wood Group PLC (LON:WG).   

 

Sharon serves on the Board of Directors for the WorkFaith Connection. She formerly served for two terms on the Board for HR Houston.  In the role of CHRO and CPO, Sharon has been on numerous committees reporting into Boards such as the Compensation Committee, Governance Committee and Corporate Social Responsibility Committee.

 

Sharon holds a B.S. in Business Administration (minor in Human Resources) from Messiah College and an M.S. in Human Organizational Science, Villanova University. She also obtained her certification in Executive Coaching from The Institute of Leadership and Management which is the UK's leading provider of leadership, coaching and management qualifications
