Why are you postponing Gastech 2020?

The Gastech Governing body, in consultation with Enterprise Singapore, the Singapore Tourism Board, and other key stakeholders took the decision to postpone Gastech 2020 to September 13 to 16, 2021. This collective decision was based on the current global pandemic and concerns over accessibility and of course the wellbeing of our speakers, delegates, exhibitors and visitors.

The safety of our community remains our top priority in these uncertain times.

When will the next Gastech live event take place?

Gastech 2021 will take place from 13-16 September 2021, at the Singapore EXPO, Singapore.

Will the event team be available during this time?

Will the Gastech team be running the content virtually?

Gastech will host a virtual event taking place from 7 – 11 September 2020, where the industry can engage in a series of technical and strategic sessions. 

What plans do you have to keep everyone updated on Gastech related developments?

The Gastech team will provide regular updates, webinars and virtual content to keep the gas industry fully engaged and updated as we all adapt and respond to the collective challenges and opportunities post pandemic.

What steps are you taking to ensure Gastech 2021 will be safe to attend?

The safety and wellbeing of our speakers, delegates, exhibitors and visitors is paramount. The Gastech 2021 team is closely monitoring the evolving circumstances surrounding COVID-19 and we are following the recommendations of all relevant authorities to ensure the decisions and actions we take are the right ones, as we work towards delivering a safe and successful event in September, 2021.

What are your plans for Gastech 2021? Do they differ from Gastech 2020?

It is too early to unveil our plans for Gastech 2021. But what I can tell you is that our strategy is to ensure Gastech remains at the heart of the global gas, LNG and energy landscape, driving the conversations, collaboration and connections that address the key challenges and opportunities being created as the world transitions to lower carbon energy. With an emphasis on technology innovation; supply and demand dynamics; evolving partnerships; people and talent and governance and influence, Gastech 2021 will set the agenda for the global gas, LNG and energy industries for decades to come.

What is the process for exhibitors and sponsors of Gastech 2020 to transfer their bookings into Gastech 2021?

How do I gain access to the Virtual Conference?

Purchase a delegate pass via the delegate sales team.

Do I have to pay for the Gastech virtual event if I am a confirmed delegate for 2020?

If you have committed to transfer your 2020 registration to 2021, then you will have free access to the Gastech virtual event taking place from 7 -11 September 2020.  

I was due to speak at Gastech 2020. What is the status of speakers?

We are planning to host Gastech virtually for Call for Paper selected speakers, this will take take place from 7 – 11 September 2020. More information will be revealed in due course.

Our conference production team will be in contact with you in due course to discuss further speaking opportunities at Gastech 2021.

I have paid to attend the conference. Can I get a refund?

There are a few options available to you. Our team will be in touch with you directly over the coming week to discuss directly. Alternatively, please email Gastechdelegates@dmgevents.com or call on +44 2036 155916.

My abstract was successful from the Call For Papers Campaign. What happens to the content that I have submitted?

We will be hosting the Gastech Virtual Summit from 7-11 September 2020 where all successful Strategic and Technical authors selected from the Call For Papers will be able to participate and present their papers. The conference production team will get in touch with you to discuss this further. 

Can I transfer my pre-registration to the next event?

Yes, our next event is 13-16 September 2021. We will gladly move your delegate booking to our new event dates. Our team will be in touch shortly to discuss your preference with you. For visitors, we will be in touch in due course to confirm your registration for 2021.

Do I have to pay for the Gastech Virtual Summit if I am a confirmed delegate for 2020?

If you have committed to transfer your 2020 registration to 2021, then you will have free access to the Gastech Virtual Summit.   

I have booked a hotel for the event. How can I cancel/get a refund?

If you have booked via our official hotel partner, HotelMap, you can contact Ashaki who can help manage your booking. Our event reference is: M4UJ7. Find their contact details here. If you have booked directly, you are advised to contact the hotel who you made your booking with.

I have booked my flight for the event. What are my rights?

You are advised to contact your airline directly to discuss your cancellation. You are advised to review the terms and conditions relating to your booking.
