Mark is the Manager of the Ships and Dredging Group at HR Wallingford with over 30 years’ experience in port and maritime design related work. He is responsible for all studies relating to ships and floating structures, including vessel manoeuvring, ship mooring and port / terminal operations. He has a degree in naval architecture and a doctorate in port operations simulation, and has worked on a wide range of LNG projects over the years. He has also been a member of several working groups for SIGTTO, PIANC, and is on the British Standards Committee for the revision of BS6349 Parts 1 and 4.
