Mark is originally from Merrillville, Indiana USA.? He attended Purdue University, graduating with a B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering and obtained a Master's Degree in Engineering from the University of Dayton.? Mark has worked for GE for 34 years.? He began his career working for GE Aviation in 1984 as a control systems engineer working on military engines.? Mark supported the engine control system design for engines used in the F16, the B1 & B2 bomber, and the prototype YF22 airplane.? In 1992 Mark switched to working on the GE LM series of gas turbines, used both in marine and industrial applications.? From 1992 to 2013, Mark provided design and? program leadership for the LM2500 engine family, with special focus on low emissions technology, controls, and O&G applications.? In 2013, Mark moved to GE's Marine business where he is Engineering Director of Commercial Applications.??? Mark is married to Alecia.? They have seven children ages 20 to 29.? He spends his precious little free time playing golf and entertaining his two dogs.? Mark is based in Cincinnati, Ohio.
