David Haynes is a Principal Technical Advisor at the Society for Gas as a Marine Fuel (SGMF). This is a new NGO formed in 2013 and David has been with SGMF since June 2014.
David has spent 28 years in the gas industry including 16 years working full time on all aspects of LNG including liquefaction plants, import terminals, small facilities and more latterly floating LNG. He is a chartered process engineer. Much of David’s career has been spent with BG Group and more latterly with GL Noble Denton. His project portfolio has been fully international ranging from China to USA and from Norway to Australia via the Middle East and North Africa. David is also acknowledged as a conference speaker and training course tutor. He has also spent time working on coal gasification, industrial energy use, fuel cells and power generation.
He is currently based in London for SGMF.
