Denise Moreno is an international actress. She was born in Madrid, to an
American mother and Spanish father. Being bilingual in Spanish and English and fluent in French, she works in international films, performs in theatre and also acts as a presenter.
Denise got her first break in film with her role in “Manolete” in which she
performed alongside Penelope Cruz and Adrien Brody.
In London, she made her debut on stage at Riverside Studios, performing in The Oresteia (2012), under the direction of award winning theatre director Anastasia Revi. She also directed Denise in the role of Salome in Oscar Wilde’s Salome (2017) to critical acclaim for Moreno’s performance as well as the work of the TheatreLab Company. Denise recently performed in “Dance with the Devil”at the iconic Sadler’s Wells. She was a member of the cast in National Geographic’s TV series Genius: Picasso (2018).
While working as an actress her passion for filmmaking has grown and now she also writes and directs. Her short film ‘ Sisters’ (Las Hermanas)’ has just won the awards for best short film, best script and best leading actress at Premios Latino held in Marbella (2018).
Denise graduated from Trinity College Dublin with an M.A in Drama andTheatre Studies.
