Daejun Chang

Technical Supervisor and Associate Professor
LATTICE Technology and KAIST
Dr. Daejun Chang is serving as technical supervisor of LATTICE Technology and associate professor of KAIST (Korea Institute of Science and Technology). Dr. Chang started his professional career in 1997 with Hyundai Heavy Industries where he led R&D projects including environmental marine propulsion, offshore LNG production, CO2 recovery, system safety, and risk analysis. Since joining KAIST in 2009, Prof. Chang has focused on developing disruptive technologies and introduced the lattice pressure vessel, which is the world’s first scalable free-shape pressure vessel and was commercialized in 2018. Now he is leading the SEA LH2 consortium aiming at large-scale liquid hydrogen shipping.
