Filippo is currently in charge of global business development activities in LNG for Eni, based in Singapore. In this capacity he is responsible for the structuring and negotiations of all mid and long term supply and sales opportunities related to Eni’s LNG portfolio. He joined Eni S.p.A. in 2009 as executive assistant to the head of the Exploration and Production Division and thereafter took on a variety of managerial roles within E&P, including leading the business development effort in Eastern Europe (2011-12) and new initiatives in the Africa & Middle East region (2012-13). More recently (2013-18) he was in charge of marketing activities related to the Eni-operated LNG projects in Mozambique, including Coral South FLNG (which reached FID in 2017) and Rovuma LNG. He started his career in Investment Banking and Private Equity at Lehman Brothers in London, Rome and New York (2005-09). Filippo holds an MA in Economics and Economic History from the University of Edinburgh.
