Mr. Oreja is Enagás' CEO since September 2012. In this role, he is leading the internationalization process that started in 2011 and boosting the innovation, digitalization and entrepreneurship in the company. He holds a degree as Industrial Engineer from University Pontificia Comillas and two postgraduate certifications from IESE Business School. In previous assignments, he was General Secretary of the Spanish Confederation of Young Entrepreneurs. Founder of the patents and trademarks company DEF-4. He held other senior positions including International Director at Aldeasa and Chairman of railway company FEVE. Mr. Oreja was a Member of the European Parliament between 2002 and 2004 and a board member of Ente Vasco de la Energía. Currently, he is also Trustee of the Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection Foundation.
