Paul Radford is the Engineering Superintendent, Vessel Replacement Program, at BCFerries. He is responsible for engineering support to the BCFerries vessel capital replacement program, specifically as technical authority for the building, testing and commissioning of new ferries and upgrade/conversion projects. He has 25 years’ experience at BC Ferries in engineering roles covering vessel operations, refits/upgrades and new construction. Prior to joining B.C. Ferries, Paul worked as a sea going engineer for Safmarine on all types of vessels; VLCCs, bulkers, container, refrigeration, heavy lift and general cargo ships. He has a First Class Motor Certificate (CDN) and a Mechanical Engineer’s GCC(RSA).
