In May 2015, Tony founded a LNG consulting company, LNGaSolutions, LLC. He has almost 40 years’ experience, with 5 years in ABS, 30 years in DNV.GL and 4 years with LNGaSolutions in the maritime industry including leadership positions at DNV.GL in USA and Qatar. In DNV.GL Tony has trained over 150 ex-colleagues in Cap Gemini’s Relationship Based Selling. He has delivered key note speeches, chaired conferences and presented over a hundred papers at LNG and alternate fuels conferences. He graduated with a B.Sc. honors degree in Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering from the University of Glasgow and has been trained in Executive Business education at the IMD, Switzerland. Over the past 19 years, Tony has extensively been involved in marketing and promoting LNG and ships’ energy efficiency technologies. During the past 4 years with LNGaSolutions, he was engaged as a full time consultant to Keppel O&M and Sembcorp Marine, providing commercial and technical assistance to these major marine yards. Tony is a SNAME Fellow and chairs its T&R LNG sub-committee, a RINA member, a chartered engineer (UK), a CTAC member providing recommendations to USCG on small scale LNG. In CTAC, he chaired workgroups on portable LNG tanks and LNG tanks gap analyses.
