The Society for Gas as a Marine Fuel (SGMF) is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) established to promote safety and industry best practice in the use of gas as a marine fuel. The Society has Consultative Status with the IMO and is governed by a representative Board and driven by two principal Committees. SGMF has several working groups at any one-time solving issues and producing outputs such as Guidelines and checklists for the industry. The Society has produced twelve ISBN publications, has over 145 international members ranging from energy majors, port authorities, fuel suppliers through to equipment manufacturers and classification societies. The Petroleum Club of Romania is a non-governmental, apolitical and non-profit association established in 2001 to protect and promote the interests of the oil & gas industry in Romania. The Club provides an ideal forum for those working in the oil, gas and energy industry who wish to cultivate and foster relationships with their colleagues at the highest levels. It also allows people in our industry to explore new opportunities as well as to provide a conduit for dialogue with authorized Romanian and international entities.
The Society of International Gas Tanker and Terminal Operators (SIGTTO) is a non-profit making organisation dedicated to protect and promote the mutual interests of its members in matters related to the safe and reliable operation of gas tankers and terminals within a sound environment. The Society was founded in 1979 and was granted consultative status at IMO in November 1983. SIGTTO currently represents around 200 member companies from 50 countries, covers more than 90% of the world’s LNG vessels and terminals and over 50% of the LPG market.
Clean Energy Business Council (CEBC): A non-profit organization dedicated to promoting clean energy including renewables, energy efficiency, smart grid, energy storage, electric mobility, climate finance, etc. The CEBC provides a platform to further dialogue between the public and private sectors to develop much needed policy and regulation to help drive the implementation of clean energy across the MENA region.
