The Call for Papers is now closed

The Call for Papers for Gastech 2025 is now closed, and the Governing Body has started the voting process.

The Gastech Call for Papers offers professionals working across the energy value chain – from technical and scientific experts to executives and policymakers – the opportunity to submit an insightful and evidence-based abstract for inclusion in one of Gastech’s five Technical & Commercial programmes.

Each year, thousands of submissions are received from pioneering energy professionals representing diverse backgrounds, disciplines, and organisations. Successful applicants are invited to develop their abstract into a paper, which will be presented to a global audience of peers at the conference.

The categories for the Technical & Commercial Programmes have been curated in collaboration with the Gastech Governing Body, a 50-member committee dedicated to ensuring that the conference upholds the highest research standards. Who submits a paper?

The Gastech Call for papers is open to the entire energy industry, welcoming papers from applicants of all backgrounds. Each year, thousands of pioneering papers from around the world are submitted for consideration in the programme.

Throughout its history, Gastech has consistently championed professionals from diverse backgrounds, disciplines, and organisations. Each year, it receives thousands of pioneering papers from global leaders in NECs, IECs, SMEs, start-ups, and major operating companies across the upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors. This approach cultivates a distinctive environment that encourages collaboration, creativity, and actionable solutions.

After the submission of papers have been submitted, on topics spanning the entire energy value chain, the Gastech Governing Body will meticulously review and select the most outstanding contributions.

Technical Speakers

Technical programme speakers will be specialists in the fields of technology, innovation, data, process engineering, project and program management, product management, research and other relevant disciplines.

Commercial Speakers

Commercial programme speakers will be experts in the fields of business strategy, marketing, regulatory issues, trading, finance and other relevant professions. They’ll be expected to demonstrate their experiences of turning corporate policy into practice.
