Chris Buckingham is a Managing Director at Evercore focused on infrastructure and energy debt advisory, including supporting clients in the LNG and midstream sectors. He based in New York.

Before joining Evercore in 2025, Chris was a Managing Director at MUFG Bank, focused on energy project finance in the Americas. Prior to MUFG, he was a Vice President in the Corporate & Investment Bank at J.P. Morgan. Throughout his career, Chris has focused on developing and executing solutions for complex or large financing challenges, with significant experience raising capital for midstream natural gas and LNG projects.

Most recently, Chris advised on the successful financing transactions for Rio Grande LNG, Cedar LNG, and Woodfibre LNG.
