Mr. Disathat Panyarachun currently serves as a Director of Gulf Development Public Co., Ltd. (since 2025), where he is responsible for the gas value chain. He also holds the position of Chief Executive Officer of Gulf Resources, a subsidiary of Gulf Development Plc.

Previously, Mr. Panyarachun served at PTT Oil and Retail Business Public Co., Ltd. as Chief Executive Officer, Secretary, and Director from 2022 to 2024. He also held the positions of Chairman of PTT International Trading London Ltd. from 2016 to 2021; Director of PTT International Trading Pte. Ltd. from 2012 to 2015; Director of PTT Global Chemical Plc from 2018 to 2022; and Senior Executive Vice President of the International Trading Business Unit at PTT Public Co., Ltd. from 2018 to 2022.

He has over 30 years of experience in petroleum trading, with extensive management expertise across the downstream petroleum value chain. Under his stewardship, PTT established its first operational presence in the United States and the United Arab Emirates, with offices in Houston and Abu Dhabi officially opened in 2021.

His expertise in international trade encompasses commodities trading, price risk management, and international chartering. Under his leadership, the implementation of a robust Risk Control System has been a key success factor in navigating volatile market conditions.Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) also plays a vital role in ensuring effective and sustainable business operations.

Mr. Panyarachun earned his graduate degree from National University in the United States and his undergraduate degree from Silpakorn University in Thailand.
