Olalekan Ogunleye, formerly the Deputy Managing Director of Nigeria LNG, has over three decades of experience in the gas sector, primarily with the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC). Prior to joining NLNG in April 2022, he served as MD/CEO of Gas Aggregation Company Nigeria Limited (GACN) and N-Gas Limited, focusing on implementing Nigeria's Gas Master Plan and managing domestic gas supply. He has held various legal and managerial roles within NNPC subsidiaries, including Company Secretary and Legal Adviser at both the Nigerian Gas Company Limited. 

Olalekan holds a law degree from Obafemi Awolowo University and was called to the Bar in 1991. He has several national and international certifications and is a member of key professional organizations, including the Nigerian Bar Association and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
