Laurent David

Before being appointed General Delegate of GIIGNL in July 2023, Laurent had been Head of the Strategy Department within the integrated Gas, Renewables and Power Segment of TotalEnergies since 2020. Previously, he was responsible for the strategy & economic studies team of the Global LNG business unit of ENGIE, before the latter was sold to TotalEnergies in 2018. he had also been working on gas and power scenarios for the corporate Strategy of ENGIE. His long-lasting interest in gas has culminated in 2000 with a PhD in energy economics dedicated to markets liberalization in Europe and in the US.
