Martin Cartwright

Martin Cartwright is the global responsible for the Gas Carrier Segment (LNG, LPG, Ammonia, Hydrogen, Multi-Gas) within the leading classifications society, DNV.

Having received his degree in Naval Architecture (MEng) from the Universities of Glasgow & Strathclyde, Martin has spent 10 years specialising in Newbuildings & Ships in Operation within the Offshore Vessel & Gas Carrier segments inclusive of Floating Storage and Regasification Units (FSRU's).

Martin has held various positions globally including management of technical support for the shipping industry in Northern Europe followed by oversight and management of decarbonisation and gas carriers in Region South East Asia, Pacific & India.

Based now in Oslo, Norway, Martin brings his competence and passion to future energy carriers whilst supporting the segment with tackling the twin challenges of decarbonisation & digitalisation.
