Natural Gas and LNG are often talked about as bridging fuels. Well, that bridge has gotten longer. There is no linear solution that will lead to a binary transition. Good projects need to be stood up and supported by financiers. We’ve grown the program by about 25% since the pre-pandemic conferences, and what we have brought with that is a lot more diversity in terms of profile and debate.

Emission reductions often come from technologies which are not yet market-ready; policies are therefore an essential tool to support R&D and reduce financial risks associated with the development of these new technologies.

Gastech returns to Houston in September 2024 in a period of unprecedented LNG and alternative fuel growth in the US and globally. Gastech captures all aspects of the energy transition under one roof in multiple specialized theatres integrated into the world beating exhibition. I have been involved in Gastech as a speaker, moderator, Governing Body member, and co-Chair for the past twenty plus years and have experienced the expansion and extension of our industry into strategies and technical advancement that we could not have envisaged. Gastech has been the catalyst for much of this incredible expansion.
