Highlights from our Gastech 2024 Executive Committee Meeting

The Gastech Executive Committee met in Houston in February to review the key themes of the Strategic agenda to discuss and align on critical issues related to global energy security, new policies, and investment opportunities, and the decarbonization solutions necessary to deliver a sustainable multi-faceted energy system.

The high level curated strategic agenda will host more than 500 CEOs, ministers, policymakers, and senior energy professionals to exchange insights on the real-world strategies and business models shaping a new era of climate action that will deliver emissions reductions and industry-wide decarbonization.

Some of the key highlights included

Addressing transformative changes crucial to maximizing access to affordable and secure low carbon energy, while building resilient, prosperous economies.
An insight into the geo-politics and its impact on the evolution of a multi – faceted energy systems in the next twelve months. How are energy companies viewing their assets and investing in them to make it net zero ready.
Looking at demand forecast and supply chain investments to meet the growing energy needs with low carbon solutions, natural gas and LNG, hydrogen.
Developing and scaling up technologies that will reduce emissions and enhance energy efficiencies, to successfully execute the energy transition.
US energy policy and US LNG growth prospects.
New partnership and collaboration strategies.

Gastech Strategic Conference

Taking place in Houston, from 17-20 September 2024, the Gastech Strategic conference will bring together the energy industry’s most eminent thought leaders to discuss critical issues related to global energy security, new policies and investment opportunities, and the decarbonization solutions needed to delivering a new multi-faceted energy system.

This year Gastech will attract over 1000 global speakers and 800 exhibitors, and welcome more than 5,000 delegates and 50,000 attendees from over 125 countries.
