Zhi Xin leads the S&P Global Emerging Asia gas team based in Singapore and India. A recognized LNG expert, he often leads discussions with energy leaders to deliberate on their strategy and business plans. His focus is on understanding supply, demand and pricing outlooks for commodity markets and the impact of government policies. He has led a wide variety of consulting projects for numerous LNG buyers and sellers on LNG portfolio optimization, transactional advisory and contractual pricing benchmarks.

He has spoken at a variety of international forums including moderating and presenting to C-suite executives at CERAWeek. His views are routinely sought by major media publications including Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, CNBC, Financial Times, Energy Asia and Petroleum Economist. He has been featured as the anchor speaker for a CNBC Special Report on Sustainable Energy.

Prior to joining S&P Global, he was a principal analyst at Wood Mackenzie. He also previously worked as a policy analyst at the Energy Market Authority of Singapore. He holds a Bachelor of Business Management (cum laude) from the Singapore Management University.
