Jerome Malka graduated in 1991 as an Electrical Engineer and began his career as an oil trader at Société Générale in Paris and London.With 20 years of experience as an energy trader, in 2006, he formed and took the lead of ORBEO, to tackle the emergence of new markets for CO2 credits. From 2012 until joining ENGIE, he worked at Solvay as Head of Energy & CO2 Markets, before heading Solvay Energy Services North America and then Solvay Biomass Energy.His current role includes being responsible for the development of green Power Purchase Agreements (green PA) for all clients from industry to technology companies, as well as the Asia Pacific energy business and our worldwide biomass activity. Additionally, he manages Global Sales, Structuring & Commercial Care activities.He is led by an entrepreneurial spirit, a drive for reaching team goals and a keen taste for negotiation, especially in ambiguous or fast-paced environments.
