Stefano Campanari holds a MSc in Mechanical Engineering and a PhD in Energy Sciences awarded at Politecnico di Milano, Italy, where he developed his academic career and became in 2018 Full Professor of Energy Systems at the School of Industrial Engineering. He develops research on advanced power cycles, hydrogen production, fuel cells and CO2 capture, distributed cogeneration. Author of over 160 publications on international journals and congresses and three books, he is scientific advisor of the Lab of Energy Conversion at the Department of Energy of Politecnico di Milano, recipient of six best paper awards at the American Society of Mechanical Engineering (ASME) Turbo Expo congresses and Editorial board member of the Elsevier Science journal ‘Applied Energy’.
