Sadaf is a Drilling & Completions Engineer from Pakistan. She is currently working as Team Leader -Drilling associated with United Energy Pakistan with around a decade of experience. She oversees planning & execution of drilling wells for 2 concession areas (onshore). She started her career as a Trainee Wellsite Drilling Engineer at UEP, later she continued working as a Drilling & Completion Engineer.
Being an advocate for diversity & inclusion and gender equality, she volunteers and offers her services for promoting females in oil & gas industry of Pakistan. She has been an active member of Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), SPE Young Member Engagement Committee (YMEC), SPE Diversity & Inclusion Committee Pakistan, Lean In Energy Network; where she promotes and works for Women in Energy Sector and motivate students to pursue a career in STEM fields.She has initiated SPE Diversity & Inclusion Committee Pakistan & currently serving as a Chair of the Committee.She has also been selected by Transition Economist for #TE100 Women of the Energy Transition in the Oil & Gas Category (Transition Economist is one of the streams of PE Media Network, publisher of Petroleum Economist) and recipient of 2021 National Youth Award by Minhaj Youth League, Pakistan & many more awards by her organization.She holds a bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from Mehran University, Pakistan and is currently pursuing her MSc. From Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen. In her leisure time, she likes reading, practices yoga & meditation.
