Dr. Jürgen Essler was born 26.11.1982 in Crailsheim, Germany. He graduated in 2008 at Hochschule Karlsruhe as a Dipl.-Ing. (FH) for mechanical engineering and in 2010 at the Dresden International University as a Master of Science in Hydrogen Technology. After finishing PhD in 2013 at the Institute of Mechanical Engineering at the Technische Universität Dresden he joined TGE Marine Gas Engineering as Project Engineer to design and commission different types of gas plants of gas carriers including one of the world first LNG bunker ships. In 2017 Jürgen Essler changed to Nexans as Head of Operations for Cryocenig and Superconducting Systems and since 2019 he leads the Sales of Cryogenic Systems at BRUGG Rohrsysteme GmbH. His profession is cryogenic engineering in various fields including the marine industry.
