Mr. Summers is manager of SGH’s Houston office, with 40 years of experience in analysis and design of industrial structures, buildings, tanks, and pipelines subjected to blast, fire, earthquake, and high wind loads. Mr. Summers obtained undergraduate degrees from UNSW in Sydney and a master’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a registered Structural Engineer and serves on American Society of Civil Engineers’ Energy Division Committees for design of petrochemical facilities for wind, blast, fire and earthquake loading. Mr. Summers has provided expert services in disputes on construction, collapse, settlement, wind, fire, blast and earthquakes. He is a Fellow of ASCE.
