Hyung Chul Lee is the Head of Hydrogen Solution Division, VP at POSCO INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION. In this role, he takes charge of both designing requiring low carbon Hydrogen infrastructure including Hybrid terminal, cracking facility and pipeline, not only for captive power and steel sector but also for non-captive refinery and chemical sector, and developing cross-border partnership to enhance its competitiveness. His division is also in active discussion with several clean hydrogen/ammonia developers around the world, to participate in the bidding for Korea’s clean hydrogen power generation market scheduled to open in 2024. He joined POSCO group in 1996, since then worked in various roles including New Business Development and Project Management for developing New Growth Industry with Korean Government. He holds BE and MS from Kyungpook National University in Korea and an MBA from University of Wisconsin-Madison.
