Felix Leggewie is an ex-seagoing Marine Engineer, who served 13 years as Chief Operating Officer of the Schulte Group’s ship owning unit Bernhard Schulte. He was in charge for 100 vessels of all types and sizes, covering technical, insurance and crewing matters. Technical screening of the Group’s newbuilding activity and retrofit projects were under his responsibility, as well. In parallel, he orchestrated as Managing Director the integration of the 2018-acquired LNG ship manager Pronav into the Schulte Group and co-ordinated the Group’s growing LNG activities together with a team of LNG specialists. Since 1st January 2021, Felix solely focusses on the Group’s future LNG business development as Executive Director LNG, thus spearheading the newly formed LNG Competence Centre (LCC). The LCC provides LNG market intelligence and guides the Schulte Group’s LNG activities in keeping its long-term strategy in ship owning, ship management, crewing and training to meet future requirements in the natural gas and -meanwhile- Alternative Fuel sectors. The LCC team consists of LNG and gas professionals with operational management expertise, offering internal and external clients consultancy services in their LNG endeavours.
