Ken West is President and CEO of Honeywell UOP, a leading international supplier and licensor of process technology, catalysts, adsorbents, equipment, digital services and consulting services to the petroleum refining, petrochemical, and gas processing industries. UOP also specializes in a full range of ready-now, sustainable technologies including renewable fuels (sustainable aviation fuel and renewable diesel), blue and green hydrogen, carbon capture, energy storage and advanced plastics recycling.Previously, Ken served as the President of Honeywell Advanced Materials, a $3 billion business unit specializing in development and manufacture of high-performance fluorine products, polymers, fibers and high purity chemicals.
Ken also has held roles with increasing responsibility supporting Honeywell’s Performance Materials and Technologies business, including Vice President and General Manager, Fluorine Products; Vice President and General Manager, Life Sciences, Protective and Industrial Products; and Vice President and General Manager, Packaging and Composites.Prior to Honeywell, Ken worked for PPG Industries where he served as global Vice President for PPG’s Packaging Coatings business. Ken also had served as the Director of Specialty Products for PPG’s Architectural Coatings business where he developed and drove product marketing and brand strategies for leading brands and led the integration of multiple acquisitions.Ken earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University and a Master of Business Administration from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University.
