Stefano Tarchi is an executive with 25 years of experience in the energy industry, who held various roles first in General Electric and then in Baker Hughes. His expertise lies in the rotating equipment market, focusing on products such as turbines and compressors, with a particular emphasis on their application in LNG/FLNG, FPSO and gas transportation sectors. Currently serving as the ‘Growth & Strategy Leader’ for the Gas Technology Equipment division at Baker Hughes, Stefano is responsible for articulating and driving the growth strategy for the business unit.
Previously he spent several years as the ‘Global Commercial Director’ for the Turbomachinery division, where he managed the commercial tendering department, dealing with large supply contracts and negotiations worldwide, collaborating closely with both EPCs and end users. Stefano holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering and is currently based in Florence, Italy, where he lives with his wife and three sons.
