Xiaoli has over 30 years Research and Engineering experience in the LNG, and Oil and Gas industries. Her career has covered all phases of engineering, commissioning, and startup of LNG plants, and Storage & Loading facilities.

Xiaoli did process engineering and process modeling in an EPC company before joining ExxonMobil Development Company in 2001. At ExxonMobil, she took a variety of roles and responsibilities including process lead, engineering lead, senior project engineer, engineering manager, and principal engineer.

Xiaoli worked in ExxonMobil Qatar Inc. in Doha for 5.5 years, supporting LNG project development. In the last 10 years, Xiaoli served as an advisor on various LNG projects and conducted research on LNG technologies. In her role as Principal Upstream Process Engineer, she advises projects and operating assets in technology evaluation/selection, process debottlenecking , project development and execution.
